SILICONE EYE BALL

After sculpting a bunch of molds for casting an eyeball, I printed them out on my ender 3... used some smooth on silicone and silicone colors and... now we have a squishy eyeball on the desk! ​

The eyeball is made up of 3 separate parts for coloring purposes (red for the iris, black for the inside of the eyeball and white for the eyeball itself). Thought it would be a fun idea to give the iris a swirly camera shutter pattern to push the cyber doll idea. Turns out my ender print resolution is not quite high enough to make this really work. Maybe I'll invest in a resin 3d printer at some point to be able to make smoother, more detailed molds but this will do for the prototyping stage. I'm sure there will be lots of changes down the road anyway.
